AVAILABILITY: Please call us at (435) 586-9497 or send an e-mail to to confirm the availability of the items you wish to order before sending payment.

ORDERING: Telephone and e-mail orders will reserve the items for 14 days. You can call in your orders any day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. MST. If you reach our answering machine you will have one minute to leave your name, phone number and the items you wish to order. We will return your call to confirm. PAYMENT: You have the option of paying online by credit card through PayPal OR simply mail us a check. Personal checks are fine, but must clear first - no delay to regular customers. Institutional accounts will be billed accordingly.

GRADING OF DOCUMENTS: All material sold by America West Archives are generally in clean condition and any condition problems are noted in the description. We adhere to the grading standards established by the Manuscript Society.

EXTRA FINE (EF): Absolutely new appearance without any folds, soiling, wear or fading of ink.
VERY FINE (VF): New in appearance with only minimal wear and minor folds.
FINE (F): Attractive with clear wording. may have slight localized conditions not affecting any text (wear, abrasions, slight browning).
VERY GOOD (VG): May have generalized condition problems including foxing, stains, wear, brown spots or abrasions. Folds may be weak, tiny pieces of paper missing, faded ink and archival or tape repairs on the back.

ABBREVIATIONS: We try to avoid them and the few we use are mostly related to Stocks and Bonds.
(U) = Unissued
(I/U) = Issued/Uncancelled
(I/C) = Issued/Canceled
o/w = otherwise
CDS = circular date stamp
